About Us

Our farm is in middle Tn, I have been around horses all my life, mostly barrel racing, and trail riding. Besides loving horses and living on a cattle farm with my family, I am a Registered Nurse of 30 years.  About Us

My interest in the “whole horse concept” began about 15 years ago when I seemed to have lameness issues from unbalanced hooves. I studied the hoof and attended Pete Ramey clinics, equine nutrition clinics, and whole horse clinics. This led to the study of the balance and energy in the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and overall movement of a horse, especially when my young horse wouldn’t pick up the correct lead. What was he trying to tell me? Because of my eternal love and passion for horses, I decided to follow my dream and become a shiatsu therapist for horses and their riders. My lifelong riding experience supports me to better understand the interaction between the horse and its rider. I am also a certified PEMF practioner as well as a certified Equine Craniosacral therapist. I received my certification for Equine Shiatsu Practioner through Dr. Geary Whiting’s course my Craniosacral through Holistic Animal studies by Angels Animals.

If you feel your horse is “off”, not picking up leads, head tossing, ill-mannered, bucking, not performing in the ring or you just want to treat them to a massage, call Manley’s Equine Therapy. I look forward to meeting you and your equine pal.
